Artwork brief
You send us your brand brief: target market, intended bag size, language requirements (English / French / Arabic / Swahili), regulatory marks needed (KEBS Diamond Mark, Ghana FDA, CODINORM, GACC), and any reference design.

Mock-up + revision rounds
Our design team returns a digital mock-up within 5-7 business days. Two revision rounds are included; additional rounds at $50 each. Mock-ups cover 25 kg PP / BOPP variants in your colour profile.

Plate production
Once artwork is locked, we produce the printing plates ($300-$800 one-time, scoped to colour count + pack size). Plate retention is 18 months on file. Re-orders against an existing plate skip this step.

Mass production + dispatch
Mill produces against the approved artwork. Pre-shipment inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek) verifies the brand on the bag matches the artwork sign-off. 14-28 days from approved artwork to vessel sailing, depending on bag count.
Material options matrix
Four material tiers covering retail premium through entry retail. Most Kenyan and Ghanaian brands run BOPP laminated; budget tiers run non-woven PP or plain PP woven with heat-transfer labels.

Pricing structure
Private-label pricing layers add-ons on top of the underlying FOB grade price. Quote shows the base FOB plus the line-item add-ons so you can see what drives the per-MT delta.

Any size in our packaging matrix can be private-labelled. The dominant formats by market:
- 25 kg BOPP laminated — Kenyan retail (KEBS PVOC, Diamond Mark), Ghanaian retail (FDA), Ivorian retail (CODINORM). See Five Star Rice for Kenya for the canonical 25 kg BOPP brand example.
- 25 kg PP woven — East African bulk distribution, lower-cost retail in West Africa.
- 50 kg PP woven — Wholesale and food-service tiers across all regions.
- 20 kg PP / BOPP — Smaller retail launches and premium markets.

Private label questions
10 x 20' FCL (~270 MT) is the base MOQ for the private-label service. For custom-printed BOPP retail packs, the bag count drives the MOQ: 15,000 bags of 25 kg (~14 FCL). Non-woven PP printed packs need 5,000 bags. Plain PP woven with a heat-transfer label runs from 5,000 bags.
14-28 days from approved artwork to vessel sailing, depending on bag count and material. Plate production takes 5-7 days after artwork lock; mill production is 7-14 days; inspection + dispatch is 3-7 days. Re-orders against an existing plate skip the 5-7 day plate step.

Any size in our packaging matrix: 20 kg, 25 kg, 50 kg PP woven, or 20/25/50 kg BOPP. Jumbo super-sacks (1 MT) can be labelled but rarely carry retail branding. 25 kg BOPP is the dominant private-label format for African retail markets.
Yes. We coordinate the regulatory licence application with the approved bodies (KEBS for Kenya, FDA Ghana, CODINORM for Ivory Coast, GACC for China). Licence fees are billed at cost; our role is the artwork integration and inspection coordination.
